About this deal

She found her father when he disappeared off the face of the earth—can she survive being on the other end of a manhunt? Daniela is strong, fiercely independent, compassionate with a heart gold and would do anything to protect the ones she loves including sacrificing herself. In lighthearted discussions of Pharaohs who took it with them when they went to their tombs, gluttonous Dutch tulip speculators, Imelda Marcos' shoe fetish, bank-robber Willie Sutton, Ivan Boesky, Adnan Khashoggi, and others, Hirsh's brief history of lucre makes it clear that the very rich can be just as stupid as the rest of us. Hensher continued: "A story of some sort emerges, but the thrust of the novel is really the most vulgar and stupid commentary imaginable about the murderous misogyny of men, the environment, the appalling taste of the kleinburgerlicher and so on. Antonio is one of those characters you want to hate but, something draws you to a man like him and wanting you to uncover his secrets and even more, wondering if you are up to the challenge of trying to pierce that armor he keeps around him.

Infidels combines a lightness of touch, a deep lyricism, an openness to beauty and mystery, with an undercurrent of daring, fierce, erotic energy and images of shocking brutality and challenging complexity. TO be honest I only read this book because my boyfriend only reads Chris Ryan and Andy Mcnabb books. Daniela has a secret to protect though, one that doesn’t include any marriage of convenience especially not to a monster like Antonio but her body won’t let her deny the scorching chemistry between them no matter how much her head might try. There is a lot of suspense and plot twists which were hidden very well, and everytime I thought I knew what they were going to lead to I kept questioning myself. Please only post requests for suggestions, not unsolicited recommendations or “should I read this book or that book” type posts. She's got a huge heart, a strong backbone, and a secret that I can't wait for it to get out into the world. The pageturning international thriller that warns us about unbridled human greed and excess, with a truly groundbreaking solution for freewheeling capitalism. Daniela is far from a pampered princess, she has a heart of gold and is passionate and shows kindness to some those some would think are beneath her.

She could've said no 100 times and hung up the phone when she thought he was inappropriate :))) but nooo, what did she do? The romantic, well, sexual scenes can be left out as far as I am concerned, but the rest was more than satisfactory. Powerful, brilliant, and ambitious, Dominic Davenport clawed his way up from nothing to become the King of Wall Street. Working as a 911 operator gave her that feeling, but there was always something missing from her life. So a familiar theme, but Eva Charles did right by it because I was highly entertained with every page, wondering if either of them would ever fall for each other.More seriously, Greene never really defines “power,” and he merely asserts, rather than offers evidence for, the Hobbesian world of all against all in which he insists we live. In the current day and age of increasing financial tensions and fewer planetary resources, his analysis of greed is both relevant and timely. With extremely well-drawn characters, the story offers neither blame nor excuses, keenly depicting the heartbreaks caused by both death and betrayal. GREED is a delicious new romantic suspense novel by Eva Charles, with twists and turns you won't see coming! Written in a lucid and engaging language, the flow of the narrative will take the readers through each step in the fraudulent enterprise.

While much of her work is rooted in the Austrian literary tradition, she has also been known to take a feminist stand on the dealings of the Communist Party of Austria.Antonio and Manuel have signed a contract in blood to acquire Quinta Rosa do Vale, D'Sousa's valuable vineyards, and to marry his only daughter, Daniela D'Sousa. This book does end on a cliffhanger but fortunately it’s only a couple of months until Lust, the second book in the A Sinful Empire series releases and I for one can’t wait to read it. Antonio is such a complex character and I have a feeling there is so much more to him then what we see on the surface and I have a feeling his layers are goin to unravel as we dive deeper into the next book and I can’t wait.
