About this deal

For new plaster, industry standard advice is to apply an initial mist coat - in which case you can thin Frenchic wall paint with tap water up to a maximum of 10%. Reseal tin after use. Clean up any spills immediately with water. Wash brushes in warm, soapy water. Porous, or ‘thirsty’ surfaces like bare wood or MDF, tend to absorb paint meaning additional coats are likely to be required to achieve a durable finish. In this case, your 750ml tin will provide less than 6m 2 of full coverage. If you apply the paint too thinly, durability may be affected.

I used the Dusky Blush Al Fresco paint on our kitchen door and it was a dream to paint with and gives a gorgeous matte, smooth finish. You just need to clean the door with sugar soap, lightly sand, wipe off the dust and paint. Be careful with it for a few weeks as it hardens up or ‘cures’. Curing is a progressive process, which can take up to three weeks for the paint to fully harden. Treat the painted surface with care during this time. In this case, your 750ml tin will provide less than 6m2 of full coverage. If you apply the paint too thinly, durability may be affected. A 750ml tin will provide a single coat of up to 12.5m2. For a durable finish, a minimum of 2 coats is required, so your 750ml tin should provide full coverage for just over 6m2 on non-porous surfaces like laminate or metal. Limited Edition 500ml tins will provide a single coat of up to 8.5m2.H καινοτόμα σειρά AlFresco Inside/Outside Range αλλάζει τα δεδομένα στα χρώματα κιμωλίας καθώς σταθεροποιείται μόνη της.
