About this deal

While the flex tubes may be the most novel technique in the set, with just the landspeeder’s engines left, the rest of the build is far from boring. Each of the three engines is unique and they’re delightfully complex with studs in all directions and ample use of half-stud offsets and clip connections. The first engine to build is the left, and it’s the one that makes this Luke’s landspeeder rather than a generic X-34, as it’s missing most of its exterior paneling. Use clever building techniques to construct the recognisable features plus a custom-made LEGO element captures the windscreen’s shape The one in the pictures won't even be used in THIS set, there's no way it's this clear and scratch-free. As has become common with 18+ sets and UCS models in particular, Lego Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder comes complete with a purpose-built display stand. It includes an information plaque, along with a space for the two included minifigures – Luke and C-3PO – to stand.

Not really interested in this one but as it’s rumored for years now, I’m just glad it’s out finally, and we can move along. A classic gets a UCS reboot Build the Ultimate Collector Series version of Luke Skywalker’s™ X-34 Landspeeder™. Anyway, the designers did a really nice job here capturing the landspeeder's colors and "streamline moderne" inspired curves! It's also neat that C-3PO finally has a dual-molded right leg, something that I feel is long overdue. I could just as easily do without some of the other details on that minifigure like the printing on the sides of the legs, but the dual-molded leg is a big improvement over the printed silver details that previous C-3PO minifigs had to settle for.And a nice model, too, but wouldn’t it be great if they finally noticed that SNOT techniques may be useful not only for details (like engine nacelles) but also for the entire hull? God awful naked, colorful stud holes on the underside, just like on the Falcon and many others… Shouldn’t UCS be something special? I think this looks great! It’s not something that I would buy, but this speeder is iconic, and it looks great in UCS. I do hope that they start doing more prequel UCS sets though. The canopy is the only wholly new element, but there are a few other elements of note. First of all, this set is a goldmine for nougat elements, with 302 spread across 16 elements. Some of them are new in nougat to this set, such as the mudguards. Build and display the first-ever LEGO Star Wars UCS version of Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder from Star Wars: A New Hope Thanks to wonderfully clear instructions, every stage of building Luke’s Landspeeder is great fun. Despite being an 18+ set, the instruction book remains simple and concise, never instructing you to place too many pieces in one go. It means it’s really easy to follow and despite this being a huge model, we’re confident younger builders should be able to enjoy it with minimal supervision.

75341 UCS Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder Display Case for LEGO 75341

Looking at the comparison shot they posted on the box art, really surprised no-one else is commenting that this is about 6-8 studs too longer at the front."That is some large windscreen, I fear the it will be covered in scratches, on the soft trans clear plastic. There are also a few minifig-scale playsets: 10188 / 75159 Death Star, 10236 Ewok Village, and 75098 Assault on Hoth. It looks alright, but I can think of at least a dozen PT ships that would've deserved a UCS version more." The nose clips into the body of the speeder, and then plates and tiles are laid over it, more or less permanently affixing it. You won’t be able to easily remove it to fit the landspeeder in a smaller box, for instance. Recently some clever guy invented some magic tech called "a printer" which can actually "print" stuff on curved pieces and believe it or not, those prints do not peel, fade, or look dirty.
