Growing in Faith

Hopefully, you (or your folks) put some of that money away to get you started down the road to independence. Dave: It sounds like there must be a real need of young adults—and maybe, it’s not just young adults—needing to know how to grow up. Is that what you found out?—it’s like: “That’s what adulting is.” What in the world would draw that many people to what you’re having to say? When facing an issue, don’t look at the situation as “something being wrong with you.” There’s something wrong with everyone- we all have a sinful nature, and we all need Jesus to help us. Accept that!

You’ll have plenty of time to explore yourself and new experiences, including joyful new discoveries and challenges you haven’t faced yet. But if you’re vying for Partner in a law firm, you’ll likely put in the time…working late hours. So, purchasing your first home may be the way to go… especially if it’s got good resale potential down the line.
